Morning kiddies! Let's play a little game shall we? Can anyone guess where these photos were taken?
I'll give you a hint—this is the corner I was standing on to take the first photo:
That's right kiddies, those cookie cutter new townhouses are sitting on top of the shattered remnants of the original Outlands location. The parking loop in the second photo is actually situated almost exactly where the defunct, unused front door of the old building used to be.

...I'd been under the impression that the original Outland site was somehow a toxic waste dump...?
And even if it wasn't it ought to be, given the sheer volume of alcohol, shitty fried food, and bile in which the old parking lot has been doused over the years. I'm tempted to go knock on someone's door and regale them with the tale of how I vomited while chained to what is now their family room wall.
Sort of a "Welcome to the neighborhood" gift?
The superfund site you are thinking of was the old plant with the big silos on the other side of the street, where you can see them still building new houses on the far right side of the second photo. It used to process vegetable oil or something like that. So while it was apparently on the superfund list at one time, it wasn't radioactive or horribly poisonous or anything of that sort, as far as I know.
